Ingredients
  

  • 2 fillets tilapia (fresh or thawed frozen)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat the tilapia fillets in the marinade and let sit for 2–5 minutes.
  4. Place the fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Ensure internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the fish flakes easily.
  6. Remove from the air fryer, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

Tilapia can be swapped for other white fish like cod or haddock. Marinate ahead of time for more flavor. Best served fresh, but leftovers reheat well!
