Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound Salmon fillets Fresh or frozen, wild-caught is preferable.
  • 1/4 cup Honey Adds natural sweetness.
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced Provides savory flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce Enhances umami flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice Brightens the dish.

Method

Preparation
  1. Gather and measure the ingredients. Mince the garlic.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and minced garlic to create the glaze.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) or prepare your air fryer.
  2. Lightly grease your baking dish or air fryer basket.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in the baking dish or air fryer basket. Pour half of the glaze over the fillets, ensuring they are well coated. Set aside the remaining glaze.
  4. If baking, place the salmon in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. If using an air fryer, cook at 375°F (190°C) for about 10-12 minutes.
  5. For extra caramelization, switch to broil during the last 2-3 minutes of cooking, watching carefully to avoid burning.
  6. Once cooked, brush with the reserved glaze for added flavor.
Serving
  1. Let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving to allow the glaze to solidify slightly.
