Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry with a paper towel to ensure they crisp up nicely.
  2. In a bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub this seasoning all over the chicken thighs for an extra flavor kick.
  3. Set your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) and let it preheat for about 5 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Place the seasoned chicken thighs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  2. After 20 minutes, brush the chicken thighs with BBQ sauce and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the sauce is caramelized.
