  • 2 pounds chicken wings Make sure to pat them dry for ideal crispiness.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Helps the seasoning stick and enhances flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce Choose your favorite flavor—sweet, spicy, or smoky!

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels for optimal crispiness.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Place the seasoned wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Work in batches if necessary.
  3. Cook for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  4. In the last 5 minutes, brush the wings generously with BBQ sauce, allowing it to caramelize slightly.
  5. Ensure the wings reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). If not, cook for an additional 2-5 minutes.
Serving
  1. Remove from the air fryer and enjoy hot with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
