Preparation
- Wash and dry the potatoes. If using regular potatoes, peel and cut them into bite-sized cubes.
- In a large bowl, toss the potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well coated.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Add the seasoned potatoes to the air fryer basket. Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
- Once the potatoes are golden and crispy, remove the basket and sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top. Return to the air fryer and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove the potatoes from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
- Enjoy hot as a fantastic side dish!
