  • 8 pieces chicken drumsticks (skin-on) For the best crispiness
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Or your preferred cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika Or regular paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper Optional for a kick

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels for crispy skin.
  2. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. If using cayenne, mix it in.
  3. Toss the drumsticks in the mixture until fully coated.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  5. Place the seasoned drumsticks in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space for air circulation.
Cooking
  1. Air fry the drumsticks at 400°F for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  2. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) for safety.
  3. For extra crispiness, cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.
  4. Remove the drumsticks from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes
