Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 bell peppers (any color), sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons fajita seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Tortillas (for serving)
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, guacamole, cheese

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the sliced chicken, bell peppers, onion, olive oil, fajita seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss everything together until evenly coated.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Place the chicken and veggie mixture in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding to ensure even cooking.
  2. Air fry at 400°F for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  3. Check for doneness. The chicken should be cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F) and the veggies tender.
Serving
  1. Warm your tortillas in a dry skillet or in the air fryer for about 1-2 minutes, then fill them with the chicken fajita mixture and your choice of toppings.
  2. Sit down with your family and enjoy the deliciousness!
