Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Pounded to even thickness
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (Italian seasoned or panko for extra crunch)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
  2. Place chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and gently pound them to an even thickness.
Coating
  1. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Dip each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture, coating well.
Cooking
  1. Lightly spray the coated chicken with olive oil to enhance crispiness.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10 minutes.
  3. Carefully flip the chicken, spoon marinara sauce over each piece, and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Cook for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  4. Ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  5. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite sides, and enjoy!
