Preparation
  1. Gather and measure all your ingredients. This makes the process smoother!
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
  4. Mix in the vanilla extract and egg until fully incorporated.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Cooking
  1. Set the air fryer to 330°F (165°C) and allow it to preheat for a couple of minutes.
  2. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and place them in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each cookie.
  3. Cook for 5-7 minutes, checking halfway through for desired doneness.

Notes
