Preparation
- Gather and measure all your ingredients. This makes the process smoother!
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
- Mix in the vanilla extract and egg until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Cooking
- Set the air fryer to 330°F (165°C) and allow it to preheat for a couple of minutes.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and place them in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each cookie.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes, checking halfway through for desired doneness.

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. Dough can be frozen for up to three months! Shape into cookies, flash freeze, then bake from frozen, adding a minute or two to the cook time.
