Ingredients

Bagel Base
  • 1 package Bagel dough Store-bought refrigerated bagel dough or homemade
Coating
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar For the sweet coating
  • 2 teaspoons Ground cinnamon Provides classic churro flavor
  • 4 tablespoons Melted butter Helps the coating adhere
Optional Toppings
  • to taste Chocolate or caramel sauce For drizzling

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. If using store-bought dough, cut it into equal portions for bagels. Roll each piece into a rope and shape it into a bagel, pinching the ends together.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
  4. Brush each bagel with melted butter and then dip or sprinkle them generously in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Cooking
  1. Place the coated bagels in the air fryer basket (in a single layer) and air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Check them halfway through for even cooking.
  2. Remove the bagels from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving.
Serving
  1. Optionally, drizzle with chocolate or caramel sauce and enjoy warm with family.
