Preparation
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, grated cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined to prepare the cream cheese filling.
- Lightly flour your working surface, then roll out the puff pastry to smooth out any folds.
- Slice the pastry into squares, about 4x4 inches.
- Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each square.
- Fold the pastry over the filling to form a triangle or rectangle. Press the edges with a fork to seal.
- Beat the egg and brush the top of each pastry for a golden finish.
Cooking
- Place the pastries in the air fryer basket, ensuring they’re not touching.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
