Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen edamame (in pod) Ensure maximum freshness.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or cooking spray Helps with crispiness.
  • to taste sea salt For a classic, savory flavor.
Optional Seasonings
  • to taste garlic powder Add for extra flavor.
  • to taste chili flakes Add for extra heat.
  • to taste sesame seeds For added texture.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Edamame: If using frozen edamame, there’s no need to thaw. Place about 1 to 2 cups of edamame in a bowl.
  3. Season: Drizzle with a little olive oil or spray with cooking oil and sprinkle with sea salt and any additional seasonings you desire. Toss to coat evenly.
Cooking
  1. Air Fry: Place the seasoned edamame in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  2. Check for Doneness: The edamame should be bright green and a bit crispy. Feel free to cook for an additional 1-2 minutes if you like it extra crispy.
Serving
  1. Remove the edamame from the air fryer and transfer to a serving bowl. Enjoy warm and dig in!
