Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced (any color)
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fajita seasoning
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • flour or corn tortillas, for serving

Equipment

  • air fryer
  • large mixing bowl
  • Tongs or spatula For tossing and serving
  • meat thermometer To ensure chicken is cooked through
  • Tortilla warmer or pan

Method
 

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, combine the sliced chicken with olive oil, fajita seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well coated.
  3. Add sliced bell peppers and onions to the same bowl and toss everything together.
  4. Place the chicken and vegetable mixture into the air fryer basket in a single, even layer. Cook for 12–15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  5. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. While the fajitas finish cooking, warm tortillas in a pan or microwave.
  7. Remove everything from the air fryer and assemble the fajitas with your favorite toppings.
