Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz fresh mushrooms (button or cremini)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (seasoned or panko)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • optional Parmesan cheese or favorite herbs

Method
 

  1. Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth and remove the stems; set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Add Parmesan or herbs if using.
  3. Drizzle the olive oil over the mushrooms, tossing to coat. Roll each mushroom in the breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  5. Place coated mushrooms in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they aren’t overcrowded.
  6. Cook for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, place in the air fryer for a few minutes at 350°F (175°C). You can also freeze uncooked coated mushrooms and cook them from frozen with slightly extended time.
