Method
- Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth and remove the stems; set aside.
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Add Parmesan or herbs if using.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the mushrooms, tossing to coat. Roll each mushroom in the breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place coated mushrooms in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they aren’t overcrowded.
- Cook for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the air fryer and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce!

Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, place in the air fryer for a few minutes at 350°F (175°C). You can also freeze uncooked coated mushrooms and cook them from frozen with slightly extended time.
