Ingredients
  

For Marinating
  • 1 pound frog legs (fresh or thawed)
  • 1 cup buttermilk (for marinating) Can substitute with milk + 1 tbsp vinegar.
For Coating
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour Can substitute with almond flour for gluten-free option.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • as needed Cooking spray or olive oil (for greasing)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Marinate the frog legs by placing them in a bowl covered with buttermilk and letting them marinate for at least 30 minutes to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  2. In a large bowl, prepare the coating by combining flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Remove the frog legs from the buttermilk and allow excess to drip off. Dredge each leg in the flour mixture until fully coated.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  3. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the coated frog legs in a single layer in the basket.
  4. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the legs are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Once cooked, remove from the air fryer and serve immediately.
