  • 4 slices slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or your favorite variety) Thicker bread like Texas toast can be used for heartier rolls.
  • 4 slices slices of cheese (cheddar, American, mozzarella, or a mix) Experiment with different cheeses for variety.
  • 2 tablespoons butter (softened) For spreading on the outside of the roll-ups.
Optional Toppings
  • to taste optional toppings (e.g., garlic powder, Italian seasoning, or crispy bacon bits) Customize to your preference.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Take each slice of bread and flatten it slightly using a rolling pin.
  2. Place a slice of cheese (or a mix of cheeses) at one end of each flattened slice of bread.
  3. Roll the slice of bread tightly around the cheese, ensuring it’s well wrapped. Repeat for all slices.
  4. Spread softened butter evenly on the outside of each roll, and sprinkle with any optional toppings.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Place the roll-ups in the air fryer basket in a single layer (may need to do this in batches).
  3. Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Serving
  1. Once done, remove them from the air fryer, allow them to cool slightly, and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes
