Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb beef, turkey, or chicken use lean cuts, sliced thinly against the grain
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper add more if desired
  • optional red pepper flakes or hot sauce for spice

  • mixing bowl for marinade
  • Knife to slice meat thinly
  • cutting board

Method
 

  1. Slice your chosen meat thinly (about 1/4 inch) against the grain for tender jerky.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and optional spices.
  3. Add sliced meat to marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 160°F (70°C), or use the lowest available setting.
  5. Remove meat from marinade and shake off excess. Place strips in a single layer without overlapping.
  6. Cook for 2–3 hours, checking every 30 minutes. Jerky should be dry but pliable.
  7. Let jerky cool completely. Store in an airtight container or refrigerate.
