Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips For that rich chocolate base.
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Helps with the delightful melt-in-your-mouth texture.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar To sweeten things up!
  • 2 large eggs Adds structure and richness.
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour For the right cake consistency.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances the chocolate flavor.
  • 1 pinch salt Balances the sweetness.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals until melted and smooth, stirring in between.
  2. Add the powdered sugar to the melted chocolate mixture, stirring well to combine. Then add the eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly.
  3. Stir in the flour, salt, and vanilla extract until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  4. Lightly grease two ramekins with cooking spray or butter. Divide the batter between the ramekins, filling each about halfway.
  5. Set your air fryer to 370°F (188°C) and preheat for about 3-5 minutes.
  6. Place the ramekins in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are firm, and the center remains slightly jiggly.
  7. Allow the cakes to cool for a minute, then carefully invert onto plates. Dust with powdered sugar or top with ice cream for an extra treat.
