- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals until melted and smooth, stirring in between.
- Add the powdered sugar to the melted chocolate mixture, stirring well to combine. Then add the eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly.
- Stir in the flour, salt, and vanilla extract until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
- Lightly grease two ramekins with cooking spray or butter. Divide the batter between the ramekins, filling each about halfway.
- Set your air fryer to 370°F (188°C) and preheat for about 3-5 minutes.
- Place the ramekins in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are firm, and the center remains slightly jiggly.
- Allow the cakes to cool for a minute, then carefully invert onto plates. Dust with powdered sugar or top with ice cream for an extra treat.
