Ingredients

  • 1-2 pounds London broil
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme; optional)
  • to taste salt and pepper

Equipment

  • air fryer
  • mixing bowl
  • Zip-top bag or dish
  • Knife For slicing against the grain
  • tongs For flipping meat

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Add fresh herbs if desired.
  2. Place the London broil in a zip-top bag or shallow dish. Pour marinade over it, seal, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 24 hours).
  3. Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove the meat from the marinade and place it in the air fryer basket. Cook for 12-15 minutes for medium-rare, flipping halfway. Adjust time to preferred doneness.
  5. Remove from air fryer and let rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
  6. Slice the beef against the grain and serve with your favorite sides.

Notes

Marinate longer for deeper flavor and tenderness. Slice against the grain to preserve juiciness. Use a meat thermometer to check doneness (130°F for medium-rare). Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
