Ingredients

Pears and seasoning
  • 2 pieces ripe pears Choose your favorite variety (Bartlett or Anjou work great).
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter or coconut oil For a deliciously rich flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon A warm spice that complements the pears beautifully.
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional) For extra sweetness.
  • 1 pinch salt To enhance the flavors.

Method

Preparation
  1. Wash and slice the pears in half, removing the seeds and core.
Seasoning
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter (or oil), cinnamon, brown sugar (if using), and salt. Toss the pear halves in the mixture until well coated.
Cooking
  1. Set your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and allow it to preheat for about 3 minutes.
  2. Arrange the pears in the air fryer basket, cut side up. Make sure they are spaced apart for even cooking.
  3. Cook the pears for 10-12 minutes, or until they are tender and slightly golden. Check halfway through and shake the basket to ensure even cooking.
Serving
  1. Remove from the air fryer and let them cool for a couple of minutes. Serve warm.
  2. Optionally, drizzle with honey, sprinkle with nuts, or top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
