Preparation
- Wash and slice the pears in half, removing the seeds and core.
Seasoning
- In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter (or oil), cinnamon, brown sugar (if using), and salt. Toss the pear halves in the mixture until well coated.
Cooking
- Set your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and allow it to preheat for about 3 minutes.
- Arrange the pears in the air fryer basket, cut side up. Make sure they are spaced apart for even cooking.
- Cook the pears for 10-12 minutes, or until they are tender and slightly golden. Check halfway through and shake the basket to ensure even cooking.
Serving
- Remove from the air fryer and let them cool for a couple of minutes. Serve warm.
- Optionally, drizzle with honey, sprinkle with nuts, or top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
