Ingredients
  

Main ingredients
  • 2 pieces salmon fillets (boneless, skinless works best)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (or melted butter)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (smoked or regular)
  • to taste Salt and pepper
Optional garnish
  • lemon wedges
  • fresh parsley
  • dill

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Brush the mixture over both sides of the salmon fillets.
Cooking
  1. Carefully place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down if they have skin.
  2. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, depending on thickness, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  3. Check that the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) for safe consumption.
Finishing
  1. Remove the salmon from the air fryer and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
  2. Garnish with lemon and fresh herbs as desired.
  3. Enjoy warm, straight from the air fryer!

Notes

Store leftover salmon in an airtight container for up to 2 days in the fridge. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 3–4 minutes to keep it tender.
