Ingredients

For the Rolls
  • 2 sheets Puff Pastry Sheets, thawed if frozen
  • 1 pound Sausage Meat (pork, chicken, or meat alternative)
  • 1 small Onion, finely chopped (optional) For enhanced flavor
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced (optional)
  • 1 Egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • Herbs/Spices, your choice (like thyme, paprika, or parsley) For extra flavor

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the sausage meat with chopped onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and your chosen herbs or spices until well combined.
  3. Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the puff pastry sheets until slightly thinner.
  4. Cut the pastry into rectangles (about 4 inches by 6 inches). Place a generous amount of sausage mixture along one edge and roll it up tightly, sealing the edges with a fork.
  5. Brush each roll with the beaten egg for a golden finish during cooking.
Cooking
  1. Place the rolls seam-side down in the air fryer basket.
  2. Cook in batches for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through, flipping halfway for even crispiness.
  3. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
