Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
- Add the shrimp and toss until well-coated. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes.
Cooking
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Thread the marinated shrimp onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each shrimp for even cooking.
- Arrange the skewers in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding.
- Air fry the shrimp skewers for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are opaque and slightly crispy.
- Check for doneness; the shrimp should reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Carefully remove the skewers from the air fryer and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
