Ingredients
  

For the marinade
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For moisture and richness.

For the skewers
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined Fresh is best!
  • as needed pieces skewers (wooden or metal) If using wooden, soak them in water for 30 minutes before use.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
  2. Add the shrimp and toss until well-coated. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Thread the marinated shrimp onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each shrimp for even cooking.
  3. Arrange the skewers in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding.
  4. Air fry the shrimp skewers for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are opaque and slightly crispy.
  5. Check for doneness; the shrimp should reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  6. Carefully remove the skewers from the air fryer and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
