Ingredients

Fruits
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries (hulled and halved) Use ripe strawberries for the best flavor.
  • 2 pieces ripe bananas (sliced) Ensure bananas are ripe for optimal sweetness.
Flavor Enhancers
  • 2 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option) Substitute with maple syrup for a vegan-friendly recipe.
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon For added warmth and flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Enhances the flavors of the fruits.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the halved strawberries and banana slices.
  2. Drizzle honey (or maple syrup) and lemon juice over the fruits. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Gently toss to combine.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Place the fruit mixture in the air fryer basket, spreading it out evenly without overcrowding.
  3. Cook for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  4. Check for doneness; the fruit should be tender and slightly caramelized. If you want it softer, add an additional 2-3 minutes.
