Preparation
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine ground meat, cooked rice, diced onion, drained tomatoes, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Fill each pepper generously with the meat and rice mixture. Pack it in, but don’t overfill!
Cooking
- Set your air fryer to 370°F (190°C) and preheat for about 5 minutes.
- Place the stuffed peppers in the air fryer basket. Cook for 12-15 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the meat is cooked through.
- If using cheese, sprinkle it on top and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until melted.
Serving
- Let the stuffed peppers cool for a couple of minutes before serving. Enjoy!
