Preparation
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into rectangles (about 3×5 inches).
- Spoon a small amount of your chosen fruit preserve onto one half of each rectangle, leaving space around the edges to seal.
- Fold the pastry over to cover the filling, then press the edges with a fork to seal securely.
- Beat the egg and brush it over the top of each strudel for a golden finish.
Cooking
- Set your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and allow it to preheat for about 3-5 minutes.
- Place the strudels in the air fryer basket (in batches if needed) and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly and mix powdered sugar with a splash of milk for icing. Drizzle over the cooled strudels.
