Preparation
- Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin matchsticks or wedges.
- Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
- Drain and thoroughly dry the potatoes with a clean kitchen towel or paper towels.
- In a large bowl, toss the dried fries with truffle oil, garlic powder, and salt for even coating.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 15-18 minutes, shaking halfway through.
Serving
- Once golden brown and crispy, remove the fries and sprinkle with parmesan cheese and fresh parsley, if desired.
- Serve immediately!
