Ingredients
  

  • 4 Twinkies store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup pancake mix
  • 1/2 cup milk adjust as needed for consistency
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • powdered sugar for dusting
  • cooking spray for greasing the air fryer basket

  • whisk for mixing batter
  • tongs to remove cooked Twinkies

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, combine pancake mix, milk, egg, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and thick.
  2. Set the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and let it preheat for about 5 minutes.
  3. Coat each Twinkie in batter, making sure it's evenly covered. Let excess batter drip off.
  4. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  5. Place Twinkies in a single layer and cook for 5–7 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  6. Let them cool for a minute, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Homemade or store-bought Twinkies work equally well. Adjust batter thickness for better coating. For easier cleanup, line your air fryer with parchment paper or use a silicone basket liner.
