  • 8 ounces pasta (penne or rotini) Any shape works well.
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce Store-bought is quick; homemade adds a fresh touch.
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese This cheese melts beautifully.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds a nutty flavor.
  • to taste salt and pepper Essential for seasoning.
  • optional cooked chicken, broccoli, or spinach Add for extra nutrition.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, Alfredo sauce, and 1.5 cups of mozzarella cheese. Mix until evenly coated.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste and add any optional ingredients.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly.
