Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned (about 5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat.
- Add the diced onions and mushrooms, cooking until softened (about 3-4 minutes).
- Stir in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, allowing it to simmer for 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.
Assembly and Baking
- In an oven-safe casserole dish, layer the beef mixture evenly on the bottom.
- Spoon the mashed potatoes on top of the beef mixture, spreading them out gently.
- Cover the casserole with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbling.

- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
