Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned (about 5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the diced onions and mushrooms, cooking until softened (about 3-4 minutes).
  4. Stir in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, allowing it to simmer for 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.
Assembly and Baking
  1. In an oven-safe casserole dish, layer the beef mixture evenly on the bottom.
  2. Spoon the mashed potatoes on top of the beef mixture, spreading them out gently.
  3. Cover the casserole with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  4. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbling.

  1. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
