- In a bowl, combine the flour, butter, sugar, and salt. Mix until crumbly.
- Gradually add cold water until the mixture holds together. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix the chopped apples, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Let sit for a few minutes.
- On a floured surface, roll out the chilled dough to 1/8 inch thick.
- Cut the dough into squares. Add filling, fold over, and crimp edges to seal.
- Preheat your air fryer or oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brush tops with beaten egg. Bake or air fry for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
