Ingredients
  

Pastry Shells
  • 12 pieces Pre-made or homemade pastry shells Use for the base of the mini tarts.
Filling
  • 100 grams Blue cheese Can be substituted with feta or goat cheese.
  • 100 grams Cream cheese Adds richness to the filling.
  • 2 large Eggs Helps bind the mixture.
  • 1 clove Garlic Fresh or powdered for depth of flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh herbs (such as thyme or parsley) Enhances flavor and adds color.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. If using pre-made pastry, cut out circles using a cookie cutter and press them into a mini muffin tin.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the blue cheese, cream cheese, and minced garlic. Use a fork to blend until creamy.
  4. Beat in the eggs until fully incorporated, then fold in herbs gently.
  5. Spoon filling into each pastry shell, filling about three-quarters full.
Baking
  1. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
  2. Cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
