Cooking the Pasta
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and add the bowtie pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 9-11 minutes.
Preparing the Beef
- While the pasta cooks, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the ground beef and break it apart with a spatula. Sauté for 6-8 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Sprinkle in 2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning and stir to combine for about another 2 minutes.
Making the Sauce
- Reduce heat to low and add cream cheese and heavy cream to the skillet. Stir continuously until the cream cheese melts and the sauce is smooth.
Combining Everything
- Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet with the beef mixture, tossing thoroughly.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted into the sauce.
- Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
