  • 2 cups Warm Water Acts as a base for the drink.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather your ingredients: honey, lemon juice, fresh ginger, mint leaves, and warm water.
  2. In a pot, heat about 2 cups of water on medium heat until warm but not boiling.
  3. While the water heats, slice about an inch of fresh ginger and wash a small handful of mint leaves.
  4. In a large cup, add the ginger slices and mint leaves. Pour the warmed water over them and let steep for about 5 minutes.
  5. After steeping, add 2 tablespoons of honey and the juice of half a lemon. Stir until the honey is dissolved.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity by adding more honey or lemon juice if desired.
  7. Serve warm, or cool down and serve over ice for a refreshing drink.

Notes
