Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  4. Gradually add in the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt, mixing until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  5. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls. Then, roll each ball in the remaining 1/4 cup of sugar.
  6. Place the sugar-coated dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Baking
  1. Bake for 10-11 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  2. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
