  • 2 tablespoons Gelatin For a vegetarian option, use agar-agar.
  • ½ cup Sweetener (sugar, honey, or alternatives) Adjust for sweetness; low-calorie sweeteners can help reduce calorie count.
  • ½ cup Water Used to dissolve the gelatin.
Optional Flavorings
  • to taste Optional flavorings (vanilla extract, liqueurs, etc.) Add for additional flavor customization.

Preparation
  1. Brew your favorite strong coffee and let it cool slightly.
  2. In a saucepan, add ½ cup of cold water and sprinkle 2 tablespoons of gelatin over it. Let it bloom for about 5 minutes.
  3. Warm the gelatin mixture over low heat until fully dissolved, about 2-3 minutes, avoiding boiling.
  4. Add the brewed coffee and ½ cup of sweetener to the dissolved gelatin. Stir until fully mixed.
  5. Carefully pour the mixture into shot glasses or a mold of choice, leaving a little space at the top.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  7. Serve as cool jiggly shots, either directly in glasses or popped out of the mold.
