Preparation
- Brew your favorite coffee. Use about 500ml of freshly brewed coffee for a strong flavor. Let it cool to room temperature.
- In a separate bowl, mix the gelatin powder with cold water and let it sit for about 5 minutes until it blooms.
- Gently heat the brewed coffee in a saucepan over low heat without boiling. Stir in the sugar or honey until dissolved.
- Add the bloomed gelatin to the warm coffee mixture and stir well until fully dissolved. Remove from heat.
- Carefully pour the mixture into molds or a shallow dish and let it cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Transfer to the refrigerator and let it set for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
- Cut into cubes or spoon out from the mold. Serve with whipped cream or fresh fruit if desired.
