- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease an 8x8-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Add melted butter, brown sugar, and eggs to the mashed bananas. Whisk until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, mixing just until combined. Add vanilla extract.
Baking
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Remove from oven and cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
