  • ¼ cup Fresh chives (chopped) Adds an onion-like flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Paprika Adds subtle smokiness.

Method
 

Preparation of Cowboy Butter
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the room temperature butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chives, paprika, and lemon juice. Blend until well combined.
Season the Steak
  1. Pat the steak dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
Cooking the Steak
  1. Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes until hot.
  2. Add the seasoned steak to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  3. Use tongs to flip the steak and allow the edges to sear.
Finishing Touches
  1. Remove the steak from the skillet and spoon the cowboy butter generously over the hot steak.
  2. Let the steak rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
