Ingredients

For the apple fries
  • 3 medium medium apples (any variety you prefer, like Fuji or Granny Smith) Choose firm apples for better texture.
  • 1 cup flour (for coating) Can use gluten-free flour for a gluten-free version.
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon For warm flavor.
  • ½ teaspoon sugar To enhance sweetness.
  • 1 pinch salt To balance flavors.
  • 2 tablespoons oil spray For that perfect crisp.

Method

Preparation
  1. Wash and core the apples, then cut them into thick wedges resembling fries.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, cinnamon, sugar, and salt.
Coating
  1. Dip each apple wedge into the flour mixture, ensuring they are well coated. Shake off any excess flour.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spray the air fryer basket with oil spray and place the apple fries in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding.
  3. Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  4. Once golden brown and crispy, remove them, let cool slightly, and enjoy!
