  • 1 medium medium green cabbage (cut into wedges) Remove any damaged leaves before cutting.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (or any oil of choice) You can substitute with avocado or canola oil.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (or minced garlic) Fresh minced garlic can be used for a stronger flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (smoked or regular) Use smoked paprika for additional depth.
  • to taste Salt & pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • optional grated Parmesan cheese for topping Adds extra flavor towards the end of cooking.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Remove any damaged outer leaves from the cabbage. Cut the cabbage into 8 wedges, keeping the core intact for stability.
  3. In a mixing bowl, drizzle olive oil over the cabbage wedges. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Gently toss to coat evenly.
Cooking
  1. Place the cabbage wedges in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving some space for air circulation.
  2. Air fry at 375°F for about 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
  3. For extra flavor, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the wedges during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
Serving
  1. Once done, remove the cabbage from the air fryer and let it cool for a minute before serving.
