Preparation
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the pounded chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Coating
- In a medium bowl, combine breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
- Coat each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Spray both sides of the chicken with olive oil spray.
Cooking
- Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/75°C).
- Remove the chicken, spoon marinara sauce over each piece, and top with shredded mozzarella.
- Air fry for an additional 3-5 minutes until the cheese melts and is bubbly.
Serving
- Carefully remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
- Serve with your favorite sides!
