- In a bowl, soak chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for extra tenderness).
- In another bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
- Set your air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
Cooking
- Remove chicken from the buttermilk, letting excess drip off, then dredge each piece in the flour mixture until fully coated.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray, then place breaded chicken breast in a single layer. Spray tops lightly with cooking spray.
- Cook at 380°F (190°C) for 10 minutes. Flip the chicken, spray again, and cook for an additional 8-10 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing. Enjoy!
