  • 2 cups Broccoli florets Fresh or frozen, chopped finely.
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese Cheddar or mozzarella for ideal meltiness.
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Panko works well for a crispy exterior.
  • 1 large Egg Acts as a binding agent.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Infuses flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder Adds depth to flavors.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • optional Olive oil For brushing or drizzling.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. If using fresh broccoli, steam or blanch florets for 2-3 minutes and chop finely. For frozen, thaw and drain.
  3. In a large bowl, combine chopped broccoli, cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Shape tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture into balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment or into the air fryer basket.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 15-20 minutes or air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  2. Let cool for a few minutes before serving with your choice of dipping sauce.
