Ingredients

For the cheesecake filling
  • 1 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup powdered sugar (for sweetness)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for flavor)
For the croffles
  • 1 cup cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • Cooking spray (for greasing)
Optional toppings
  • fresh fruit
  • chocolate sauce
  • whipped cream

Method

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F or prepare your slow cooker on low heat.
  3. Divide your cookie dough into small balls (roughly the size of a golf ball).
Assembly and Cooking
  1. Flatten each cookie dough ball, place about a tablespoon of cheesecake filling in the center, and fold the dough over to seal. Form into a waffle shape.
  2. Spray the air fryer basket or slow cooker insert with cooking spray. Place the croffles inside and cook for about 10-12 minutes in the air fryer or 2-3 hours on low in the slow cooker, until golden brown.
  3. Allow the croffles to cool for a few minutes before serving.
  4. Drizzle with chocolate sauce or add fresh fruit for a perfect finish.
