Sauces and Seasonings

  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil (optional) Brushed finish can promote browning and add flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano and Italian seasoning (optional) These spices elevate your dish with beloved pizza aromas.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. On a clean surface, roll out your pizza dough into a rectangular shape about 1/4-inch thick.
  3. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over the dough, leaving about an inch around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle a generous amount of cheese evenly over the sauce, followed by your desired toppings.
  5. Starting from one of the longer sides, carefully roll the dough tightly and pinch the seams to seal.
  6. Cut the rolled dough into one-inch wide pieces and place them cut-side up onto a lightly greased baking sheet.
Cooking
  1. Brush the tops lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with oregano or Italian seasoning if desired.
  2. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until golden-brown and the cheese is bubbling.
