  • 1 envelope flavored gelatin powder Use the flavor you enjoy for sweetness.
  • 1/4 cup hot water Dissolves the gelatin until smooth.
  • 3/4 cup cold water Cools the mixture to a drinkable temperature.
  • 1 scoop unflavored collagen or protein powder Adds protein without changing flavor.
  • to taste Sweetener Optional, use if gelatin is not sweet enough.
  • 1 teaspoon lemon or lime juice Brightens flavor and balances sweetness.
  • Ice cubes Optional, to chill and dilute the drink.
  • Fresh berries or mint Optional garnish for visual appeal.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Measure and heat the water to near boiling.
  2. Sprinkle the gelatin powder into the hot water and stir until fully dissolved.
  3. Stir in optional protein and sweetener until smooth.
  4. Add cold water and any aromatics, stirring well.
  5. Pour into a glass or bottle and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or serve over ice.
  6. Stir before sipping and garnish if desired.

Notes
