- In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine sugar, butter, and corn syrup. Stir continuously until smooth and sugar dissolves, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from heat when bubbling gently, and stir in crispy rice cereal until well coated.
- Gently fold in chocolate chips, allowing them to melt slightly.
- Drop spoonfuls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each.
- Press down slightly for uniform shape and let cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
