- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the black beans and taco seasoning, mixing well until everything is coated in flavor. Let this simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Lay your ready-made pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish, pressing it down. Pour the beef and bean mixture into the crust and spread evenly. Top with shredded cheese.
- Place the pie in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes.
- Serve warm, topped with your choice of diced tomatoes, fresh lettuce, avocado slices, and sour cream.
