  • 1 piece ready-made pie crust Opt for whole wheat or gluten-free crust if dietary restrictions apply.
  • to taste toppings of choice Such as diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, sour cream, and avocado.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the black beans and taco seasoning, mixing well until everything is coated in flavor. Let this simmer for another 5 minutes.
  4. Lay your ready-made pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish, pressing it down. Pour the beef and bean mixture into the crust and spread evenly. Top with shredded cheese.
  5. Place the pie in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes.
  7. Serve warm, topped with your choice of diced tomatoes, fresh lettuce, avocado slices, and sour cream.
