  • 1 cup cold water To cool down the gelatin mixture
  • 1 pkg flavored gelatin Choose sugar-free varieties for lower calories
  • 2 cups mixed fruits Great options include strawberries, grapes, and pineapple
  • 1 cup whipped topping or cottage cheese Opt for light versions for fewer calories
Optional Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup nuts Add for texture and flavor
  • 1/2 cup marshmallows Adds sweetness

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Boil 1 cup of water. In a mixing bowl, pour the granulated flavored gelatin and slowly add the hot water while stirring until fully dissolved.
  2. Pour in 1 cup of cold water into the dissolved gelatin mixture and stir to combine.
  3. Cut your choice of mixed fruits into bite-sized pieces and gently fold them into the gelatin mixture, ensuring they’re evenly distributed.
  4. If desired, fold in whipped topping or cottage cheese until combined.
Setting
  1. Pour the mixture into a mold or serving dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set.
Serving
  1. Once set, cut into squares or scoop out servings. Garnish with extra fruit or a dollop of whipped topping if desired.

Notes
