- Boil 1 cup of water. In a mixing bowl, pour the granulated flavored gelatin and slowly add the hot water while stirring until fully dissolved.
- Pour in 1 cup of cold water into the dissolved gelatin mixture and stir to combine.
- Cut your choice of mixed fruits into bite-sized pieces and gently fold them into the gelatin mixture, ensuring they’re evenly distributed.
- If desired, fold in whipped topping or cottage cheese until combined.
Setting
- Pour the mixture into a mold or serving dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set.
Serving
- Once set, cut into squares or scoop out servings. Garnish with extra fruit or a dollop of whipped topping if desired.

Flavored Jello salad can be made up to five days in advance. Store it covered in the refrigerator. Substitute gelatin with agar-agar for a vegan option.
